K in her "Firecracker" shirt, with her new iPod Shuffle. Is she 6 or 16? (BTW, thanks to those who signed up for Wowio! This was our free gift!) We took her to Taco Bell for lunch... because nothing says 4th of July like Taco Bell ;-)
This photo was taken from our balcony. We live between two megachurches, and one of them holds a great 4th of July fair every year. We walked up the hill, and K bounced in that bounce house for quite some time.
Then we snuggled on the balcony to watch the fireworks! This is my best photo of the downtown fireworks.
This is a shot of the fireworks that the church behind us set off. See the railing of our balcony, and a bit of the roof in the photo? THAT's how close we are to the fireworks each year! It's pretty cool.
